Master coils, cut-to-length sheets, skidded coils, precision blanks, etc. all require carefully formulated procedures to ensure that your product will arrive at your facility safe and on-time with 100% useable product.
The Sawyer, Michigan facility can handle up to 8 trucks inside the receiving area and up to 13 trucks inside the shipping area. Our Franklin Park, Illinois facility can handle up to 10 trucks inside the receiving area while warehousing up to 9 trucks inside the shipping area. Through the use of these expansive shipping and receiving facilities, Arlington Metals can ensure that your product flows seamlessly to and from our operations into the end-users facility. Here at Arlington Metals we use loading and unloading equipment such as: 15,000# low mast lift trucks, up to 40 ton overhead cranes, 2-arm power coil grabbers, C-hooks, power rotating hook blocks, crane scales, coil tippers, coil caddies, sheet lifters, lift trucks with extended forks (side loads), heavy duty recessed dock plates and more.
Carefully monitored procedures keep a constant eye on inconsistent and unsatisfactory equipment. All trailer floors, tarps, rail gondola beds and covers, etc are inspected before loading and shipment. If any equipment does not live up to the necessary guidelines, the product will not be loaded. The customer will be notified and a replacement vehicle will be ordered immediately.
Arlington Metals can accommodate many different types of loading requirements. Some examples are; side loading skids or coils, gondola bedded trailers, export packaging, 84” O.D. master coils, bundling cylinder fashion coils, enclosed van loading, etc.
