Arlington Metals Corporation has extensive inside rail capabilities for both your shipping and receiving requirements. We can load or unload up to 6 rail gondolas at once inside our Sawyer, Michigan facility and up to 4 gondolas inside our Franklin Park, Illinois facility. Switching agreements vary seasonally or by year to year, so please inquire as to the rail yards capabilities.

Our Sawyer, Michigan facility is located right on Interstate 94 at Exit 12 in Sawyer, Michigan.  This facility is also on the main CSX OAKHALL / SAWYER, MI Line.

Our Franklin Park, Illinois facility is located on Franklin Avenue in Franklin Park, Illinois just 1 mile south of the busy O’Hare International Airport and sits right across the street from the CP Railroad Line (Canadian Pacific) using the spur facility name S16.  This extreme close proximity to the Canadian Pacific Line allows for timely service while acting as a perfect hub location for all your shipping and receiving needs.

Rail capability is an essential, cost beneficial and sometimes the only option available to move freight, especially during extended inclement weather situations or truck unavailability.  All of are facilities are equipped with modern overhead cranes that can handle individual coil weights up to 80,000 pounds in our Sawyer, Michigan facility and 60,000 pounds in our Franklin Park, Illinois facility.
